Missions is what we are about — not only just the here and near, but also the not-so-near and the far, far away. Our money stretches from our own backyard to all around the globe to help women and children in need. We’re a hands-on group, too, helping local missions through personal involvement. Our only regular fundraiser is serving dinners to Harmony’s United Methodist Men (once a month, 11 months out of the year).
Harmony’s UMW is madeup of four “circles” which meet monthly (except during the summer). Two circles meet during the day, two in the evening. One circle consists of younger women in their 30′s and
40′s. Women in the other three circles are older, ranging in age from early 50′s up to 90+.
